FSHD Pod Challenge!

The Family Science and Human Development Department learned that laundry pods were a high-need item at the food pantry, and Lisa Mills, Program Assistant, challenged the faculty and staff to pool their resources and eliminate this problem. They did not disappoint, and happily rose to the FSHD Pod Challenge!

Lisa stated, “Within 5 minutes of emailing them, we had collected $190 and in just one week, we raised enough money to purchase 12 of the largest Tide pod containers. In the spirit of giving, we proudly donated a total of 1,344 Tide pods! Combined with all the other donations, I think the pantry is well-supplied for a while!”
