Dr. Ashley Ermer Receives Outstanding Professional Paper/Publication Award from the National Council on Family Relations

Dr. Ashley Ermer, Assistant Professor in the Family Science and Human Development Department, recently received the National Council on Family Relations Families and Health Section Outstanding Professional Paper/Publication Award. The paper that won the award is: Ermer, A.E., & Matera, K. (2021). Older women’s friendships: Illumination the role of marital histories in how older women navigate friendships and caregiving for friends. Journal of Women and Aging. 33(2), 214-229.
The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR), founded in 1938, is the oldest nonprofit, nonpartisan, multidisciplinary professional association focused solely on family research, practice, and education.
