Counseling Adjunct Professor Tracie E. Morrison ’06 MA Publishes ‘PRAY-ER: Talk, Listen, Obey Starting and Strengthening Conversations with God’

Tracie Morrison, an Adjunct Professor in the Counseling Department and a 2006 graduate from the MA Counseling Program with a School Counseling concentration recently published her second book, PRAY-ER: Talk, Listen, Obey Starting and Strengthening Conversations with God. Tracie has also been a School Counselor in the Montclair Public Schools since 2006.
Previously, Tracie was named the Governor’s Educator of the Year for the 2017-2018 school year for Montclair High School and the 2018 Counselor of the County for Essex County from the North Jersey School Counselor Association (NJSCA).
Her first book, The Prayer Dancer, A Three-Act Play, is Tracie’s personal testimony. The voices of these women represent her thoughts, emotions, and wishes at various points in her life. Each woman echoes words that she spoke, felt, and lived. The Prayer Dancer, A Three-Act Play was published in 2015.
