Center of Pedagogy Celebrates Teacher Education Program Graduates

As the Spring 2024 semester ended, the Center of Pedagogy celebrated our newest Teacher Education Program graduates! We welcomed Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 graduates and their cooperating teachers, who have supported them as teacher interns this past year. Montclair State University faculty, staff, and mentors were also in attendance.
Continuing a cherished Montclair State University tradition, Interim Dean Vincent C. Alfonso ceremoniously rang the school bell, a symbolic act that marked the profound transition from student to teacher, a moment of pride and accomplishment for our graduates.
The Center of Pedagogy collaborates with over 20 different departments across the university’s colleges as students pursue different certification areas to become educators.
Students participated in raffles and received swag generously supplied by the Office of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement, the Center of Pedagogy staff, and the Teaching and Learning Department.
