2022 Distinguished Clinical Intern and Cooperating Teacher Virtual Awards Ceremony

The New Jersey Distinguished Clinical Intern Awards event is occurring on June 8, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. This annual awards program is a collaborative effort between the New Jersey Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (NJACTE) and the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) to publicly recognize the top graduates of New Jersey educator preparation programs alongside their cooperating teachers. NJACTE has graciously contracted with MediaCutlet to orchestrate this virtual awards ceremony.
The MSU nominated Distinguished Clinical Interns and Distinguished Cooperating Teachers are:
- Brian Milara, Social Studies certification. Yvette Jordan, Cooperating Teacher, Social Studies, Central High School, Newark Public School District.
- Jessica Shinberg, Social Studies certification. Cooperating Teacher, Christine Hurta, Social Studies. Belleville High School, Belleville Public School District.
- Alexa Tammone, Music and Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification. Cooperating Teacher, John Hellyer, Music, West Orange High School. West Orange Public School District.
