It’s Not All Bad

Jennifer (née Mustachio) Santa Maria ’13 MAT is using and sharing her skills as an artist to instill hope during these difficult times. She and other artists host workshops around New Jersey that teach participants how to make traditional Ukrainian pysanky – eggs decorated using beeswax, dyes, and a stylus known as a kistka. According to legend, “the more people in the world who continue to teach and make pysanky, the less chance evil will prevail.”
