Dr. Ian Bouie Successfully Defended His Dissertation

Dr. Ian Bouie, Program Advisor in the Center of Pedagogy, successfully defended his dissertation titled, “Grow Your Own Future: Reflections on the Past and Present of a Grow Your Own Teacher Program.” His qualitative research focused on the experiences of alumni who, as talented high school students, pursued teaching careers through an innovative grow-your-own teacher preparation program.
