Dr. Peter Hosick Appointed as the Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine

Dr. Peter Hosick, Associate Professor in the Exercise Science and Physical Education department, was recently elected for a 2-year appointment as the Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine. In this role, he will help organize the chapter’s annual conference, which aims to foster the professional and educational development of students and to promote the dissemination of health and exercise-related information. Dr. Hosick is excited for his role and the opportunity to grow Montclair State’s representation at the regional and national levels as well as increase its recognition as a preeminent program.
The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine (MARC-ACSM) is a diverse group of professionals and students dedicated to the advancement of sports medicine and exercise science. We serve members in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Washington, DC. The chapter seeks to communicate scientific information, provide a forum for research, foster professional peer interaction, and support career growth.
