Canvas “Guest Teacher” Role
The new “Guest Teacher” role can be used to add colleagues to Canvas courses

Effective May 13, 2024, if faculty/instructors would like to add their colleague(s) to a Canvas course to share their course content, a newly created “Guest Teacher” role can be used to meet the needs. The role of “Teacher” in Canvas courses will be reserved for officially assigned faculty/instructors that are automatically fed in by the Banner SIS records.
