Black holes are mysterious and interesting compact objects in our Universe. We have gained knowledge about these objects thanks to active research in past decades. However, we still have questions that are not fully answered. In this presentation, I will provide a general overview of black holes, a history of black hole studies, and discuss remaining questions on black holes from an observational perspective.
