Medical Physics: Professional Pathways and the Role of Advanced Imaging in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Cancer
Peter Taylor, Hofstra University and Northwell Health
Peter Taylor is a clinical medical physicist in the Department of Radiation Medicine at Northwell Health, and assistant director of the medical physics graduate program at Hofstra University. He will discuss the profession of medical physics and describe some of the imaging and diagnostic techniques used to treat cancer. He will also give an overview of Hofstra's medical physics graduate program.
