ALI HAIDER SHALWANI, MSBA STUDENT 

Ali Haider served as a Marketing Manager at a startup in Seattle, Washington where he honed his expertise across various marketing platforms such as social media, email, community, and newsletters. “I would like to impart my extensive marketing background to fellow students and illustrate how the MSBA program empowers me to enhance data-driven decision-making abilities.”

SHOUVIK MAAZUMDER, MSBA Student

Shouvik has eight years experience in data management and analytics. “I chose to pursue an MSBA at Montclair State University because I sought a program that could elevate my skills in advanced analytics, statistics, and machine learning that was also cost effective. This MSBA program not only met this criteria, but also provided a supportive environment with resources like career services and mentoring programs. I’m passionate about helping prospective students make informed decisions about their education, and I believe MSU offers an excellent balance of quality education and affordability, ensuring that students receive a strong return on their investment in their future careers. I can help them identify how to create a brand and if they have any doubts, I would be happy to answer.”

Gopal has worked for Accenture Solutions (India) where he honed his analytical skills, specializing in cloud transformation and migration. “I aim to inspire prospective students by sharing my experiences and emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and adaptation. I believe my journey serves as a testament to the diverse paths one can take to succeed in the field of analytics. Moreover, I’m confident that MSU’s program, with its comprehensive curriculum and experienced faculty, can provide prospective students with the tools they need to excel in the field of business analytics.”

ANDREA PINTO QUIROZ, MSDMA STUDENT 

Andrea is pursuing a Master’s of Science in Digital Marketing Analytics at Montclair State University. With over six years of experience in the marketing and sales industry, her professional journey involved identifying market gaps, seizing opportunities, and making data-driven decisions. Her work with the Graduate Admissions team at Northeastern University has equipped Andrea with valuable insights, which she is eager to share with prospective students. “I aim to inspire and motivate prospective students, particularly international ones, by sharing the challenges and rewards of studying in the U.S. I believe my experiences can provide valuable insights and encouragement to those considering this path, making their journey a bit easier and more exciting.”

BHOOMIKA KAPOOR, MSBA ALUMNUS

Bhoomika is a Data Engineer at Tesla.  Her professional experience includes working for American Express as a Lead for Core Reporting and Analytics.  “I’d like to share my knowledge and industry experience with students.  Preparing students for the future is my motto here and I would be happy to have 1:1 sessions and guide students in person with all their questions”.

SARA SHAMSUTDINOVA, Dual MBA/MSBA STUDENT

Sara has an extensive background working in development finance for World Bank Group. “The banking sector is a prime example of how data and digital technology are adopted for analytics-driven strategies and tools. The MSBA program offers technical training to thrive in data-driven age and make a meaningful career growth. I’d love to support students to share my experience.”

Sarju is an adept professional with over 7 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and Anti Money Laundering (AML). “I’d love to offer insights into university life, the MSBA program, and campus culture to prospective students. Drawing from my extensive auditing and AML expertise, I am eager to share the practical applications of Business Analytics in my field and across other various sectors in today’s data-driven world.”

Ravi comes from a background in the Product and Enterprise Software industry. “I was drawn to Montclair State University because of its curriculum specifically designed for data analysis and predictive modeling, which are essential skills for market readiness. Now, as an alumnus, I am enthusiastic about guiding and mentoring prospective students.”

Giuli is a Human Resources Technician for the New Jersey Army National Guard. With over 15 years of experience in Human Resources, she has always felt compelled to help people. As a graduate of MSU’s Master of Science in Human Resources Analytics program, Giuli is eager to share her experience: “I hope that I can provide prospective students with a sense of reassurance that their commitment to the program is worth the investment and quell any fears that may be prohibiting them from joining the program.”

JAYKUMAR RAICHURA, MBA/MSBA ALUMNUS

Jaykumar is a former Dual MBA/MSBA student at Montclair State University. He has 5 years of work experience as a Business Data Analyst.  “My major piece of advice to prospective students is to excel in Python and SQL languages, given a growing demand for professionals in those skills. The Dual degree offers an ideal mix of technical and business skills”

VIVIANA PAVON, MBA/MSBA ALUMNUS

Viviana has recently graduated with a Dual MBA/MSBA from Montclair State University.  She has an accounting background working for Ernst & Young in Ecuador and ShipCo Transport Inc. in New Jersey USA.  Her interest in solving puzzles and data, led her to pursue a dual degree to learn how to collect, analyze, and transform data for decision making.

JORDAN LYTLE, MSBA ALUMNUS

Jordan is the Director of Talent Analytics at Prudential where he oversees and executes talent analytics projects supporting the translation of people data into insights and business outcomes. Prior to that, he was an analyst at JP Morgan Chase focusing on process improvement, data standardization, and creation of automated reporting solutions.

WENTING WANG, MSBA ALUMNUS

Wenting is a Lead Analyst / Anti-money Laundering Prevention at Bank of New York Mellon. “As an international student originally from China, I would like to help prospective students with strategically structuring their study plan to successfully complete the MSBA program and make themselves marketable after graduation.”

BIJEN MANANDHAR, MSBA ALUMNUS

Bijen is a Data Analyst at Valley Bank where he is responsible for improving processes and developing management reporting using SQL, Power BI, Power Query, and Python. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer at a University within the NY/NJ Metro area. MSBA Program’s rigorous curriculum helped Bijan make a career transition from accounting to business analytics.

Uday is a Principal Data Analyst at ADP Inc. Canada where he applies his data analytics skills to solve large-scale organizational problems. “I chose the MSBA program to strengthen my technical skills, analytical mindset, while building my business acumen.
