B.S. in Business Administration, International Business

It’s Your Time. To Stand Out.

Business is increasingly global in nature and the number of firms with international dimensions in their business models continues to grow. The International Business (IB) concentration is designed to provide students with both the skills and perspectives to add value to firms whose activities, in full or in part, are international in nature.

The International Business Concentration

Business is an international language. To compete in today’s diverse global marketplace, you need to understand how to conduct transactions and solve business problems both at home and abroad. Acquire the skills and cultural awareness you need to serve customers in a range of global markets with a concentration in International Business. Through our comprehensive  curriculum, you will gain an interdisciplinary global perspective on national and company competitiveness, international trade, export and import management, foreign direct investment, market entry and expansion strategies, regional blocs, and control of multinational corporations.

International Business primarily focuses on the ways in which culture, language, political systems, geography, and socio-economic factors influence business activities. Practitioners in this field are knowledgeable about functional business administration, economics, and management. With this concentration, graduates will be prepared for employment in many manufacturing, service, or knowledge-based industries with international markets, suppliers, finance sources, and/or an internationally diverse workforce. Corporations pursuing worldwide opportunities are always in search of individuals who can identify and act on major trends and opportunities in international locations, and manage the potential risks and challenges.

Course Catalog & Requirements

I really enjoy the diversity of students and professors at the Feliciano School of Business. It perfectly resembles the diversity of real work environments in states such as New York and New Jersey. Similarly, I found the professors’ openness and predisposition to help students to be a competitive advantage of the school.
