Kevin Bradley ’84
Former EVP & CFO | US Steel
Kevin P. Bradley joined U. S. Steel in July 2017 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He has executive responsibility for the oversight and leadership of U. S. Steel’s entire financial enterprise, including financial planning and analysis, external reporting, credit, tax and treasury services, investor relations, internal controls, and internal audit administrative oversight. Mr. Bradley is also actively engaged in the development and implementation of U. S. Steel’s strategic plan.
Mr. Bradley arrived at U. S. Steel after spending 11 years at Terex Corporation, a U.S.-based global manufacturer of lifting and material processing products such as cranes, aerial work platforms, and mobile crushing and screening equipment used in industries ranging from construction and mining to utilities. During his time with Terex, he served as president of two key business units – Terex Financial Services and Terex Cranes – before being named senior vice president and CFO at the corporate level in 2013. In each role, Mr. Bradley led the development and execution of key business strategies. He also played a critical role in the successful transformation of Terex’s strategic direction.
Prior to his time at Terex, Mr. Bradley spent 20 years in the financial services industry. This included positions with GE Kevin P. Bradley Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer Capital, where he served as chief asset management officer for the Vendor Financial Services business unit, and with AT&T Capital in several finance and asset management positions. Mr. Bradley earned his bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University in New Jersey, where he majored in accounting, and currently serves on the advisory board for the university’s business school.
