Bridging Academia and Industry: Guest Speakers Enrich Student Learning Experience

As part of our commitment to fostering dynamic connections between academia and industry, several faculty members have recently invited guest speakers to their classes. These speakers bring real-world expertise, share insights from their professional journeys, and provide students with valuable perspectives on industry trends and challenges. This initiative reflects our strategic priority of engagement, enriching the student learning experience and strengthening ties between the business school and the professional community.

Peter Schlittenhardt (Dept. of Management) New Student Seminar class
Assistant Director of Academic Advising and Adjunct Professor, Peter Schlittenhardt, hosted Founder of Goal Line Capital and Feliciano School of Business Alumni, Bobby Esposito, in his New Student Seminar & Business Ethics and Social Impact courses. He offered insightful guidance to our new students on topics such as the role of time in compound interest, brand development, fiduciary responsibilities, and financial literacy for college students. His inspiring journey from the Feliciano School of Business at Montclair State University to becoming a successful financial advisor provided valuable lessons and inspiration for all.

Warren Zhou (Dept. of Management) Organizational Behavior class
Associate Professor Dr. Warren Zhou hosted Elizabeth Barry, Senior Coaching and Communications Consultant at Emerald One, as a guest speaker in his Organizational Behavior class. Elizabeth provided invaluable insights on leadership, influence, and the power of genuine networking. Her extensive experience as an executive coach, author, and speaker captivated the students, offering them practical lessons for both personal and professional development. Through her compelling stories and focus on compassionate communication and emotional intelligence, Elizabeth inspired everyone to lead with purpose and integrity.
