Dr. Ross Malaga to Join Vanguard Theater’s Panel on AI and Relationships Following Performance of Cordially, Indisposed

Dr. Ross Malaga, department of Information Management and Business Analytics, has been invited to join a special panel discussion at Vanguard Theater Company following their November 2nd closing performance of Cordially, Indisposed. This unique opportunity places a key member of our faculty alongside the writer, cast, and AI experts to explore the growing influence of AI in our lives and relationships.

The play, a horror comedy, tells the story of a mad yet heartbroken mastermind—known as “the maker”—as she attempts to craft her perfect partner using a mix of science, alchemy, love, and… her exes. Due to the central theme of AI throughout the show, the panel will dive into how AI shapes interpersonal connections, with participants sharing their insights on AI’s impact on everyday life.
