The Feliciano School of Business has launched its own channel on Hawk+, the free digital streaming platform operated by the School of Communication and Media that curates and aggregates the best video content from across Montclair State University.
“Our current and prospective students, alumni and corporate partners can keep up to date with what’s going on at our School through our new Hawk+ channel, and that’s exciting. This valuable video repository will help our stakeholders stay in touch with relevant business topics while exposing and attracting students and partners to our School,” said Kimberly Hollister, dean of the Feliciano School of Business.
The Feliciano channel offers weekly episodes exploring current trending business topics featuring Feliciano faculty who provide their perspective on those trends. In addition to faculty, Feliciano students are getting exposure on Hawk+ by sharing their experiences in each of the School’s programs and concentrations. Students share their positive views about the courses they’ve taken and how those courses are preparing them for a career in business.
“We are so excited to be partnering with the Feliciano School of Business in furthering our collective mission to tell the dynamic stories of our students and faculty using cutting edge distribution tools,” said Keith Strudler, director of the School of Communication and Media. “This is yet another step in actualizing the potential of Hawk+ while also creating new synergies across campus.”
Future episodes will include “Feliciano Insider,” a stream-of-consciousness mini-documentary from the point of view of Feliciano students, professors, alumni, donors and others. “Feliciano Advantage” is an animated video series that explores and explains a variety of business topics. Finally, “Feliciano Live” will stream live interviews during which Feliciano faculty discuss business trends and field live questions from Feliciano students and social media followers.
