The College of the Arts recently launched a portal on iTunesU, Apple Corp.’s online catalog of free, educational content offered through its iTunes Store.  Under the Montclair State University listing, the College’s iTunesU collections include works produced by students and faculty in the form of films, television productions, performance-sound clips, art slides, fashion documentary clips and podcasts of faculty class demonstrations.

College of the Arts’ Dean Daniel Gurskis, who announced the launch of the project on the Opening Day of the Fall 2013 semester, said “We established ourselves on iTunesU in order to extend our reach beyond the campus, thus, allowing our students to introduce new audiences to their work.  In the process, we hope to engage prospective students across the country, even globally.”

Anyone with an Apple device (Mac computer, iphone or ipad) can seamlessly access iTunesU, however non-Apple users can also view the offerings by following the instructions listed below.

The College of the Arts will be adding to its iTunesU collections over the coming year.
