Spotlight on Alumni – Spring 2013

Students graduating from the College of the Arts go on to pursue successful careers as actors, dancers, directors, choreographers, technicians, producers, filmmakers, teachers and arts administrators, among others. The alumni are part of our extended family and their numerous successes are our successes:

Art and Design

Graduating senior BFA in Graphic Design major JESSICA BIRS was awarded an Emmy for her work at the MLB Network. Birs was completing an internship at MLB, and created on-air graphics for many broadcast events while there. The Emmy was awarded to her for her graphics for the “MLB Tonight” program.

Theatre and Dance

LISA PELUSO (BFA ’04) is now a senior company member with Elisa Monte Dance.
