Dance Alumni Week

From April 8 – 12, 2024, the Department of Theatre and Dance hosted Dance Alumni week, and it was a great success!
There were a variety of interactions throughout the week between the alumni and the students. 13 alumni taught within the department’s technique courses, while two alumni, who are also teachers, spoke to the Dance Methods students. Additionally, six alumni participated in a panel discussion, while nine alumni presented their choreography in the Alumni Showcase. There were also alumni who attended but neither presented nor spoke.
Thank you so much for hosting this! I enjoyed sharing the space with the students. The entire Alumni Week with classes, panel discussion, and show was a great experience and I hope it will continue again in the future.

The Alumni Showcase was followed by a reception hosted by the Montclair State University Alumni Association.
