This summer the Department of Theatre and Dance and Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts jointly present Hearts of Men, an intergenerational dance program that is open to men of all ages and abilities.

Hearts of Men, created by Fredrick Earl Mosley, brings together many generations of men, from elders to youngsters, in one circle of shared experience. With the opportunity to dance together dancers learn not only from their peers, but from their elders and the youngest of participants.

The two week summer intensive runs from Sunday, August 28 to Sunday, September 11, 2016 and is held on the campus of Montclair State University.  The program culminates with two performances in Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11. Performances are open to the public.

See the below video from Wired Jersey that highlights the program:

The program is free to men aged 13 and older. Housing, meals and transportation are not provided. For more information please visit: Hearts of Men / www.emiadance.org
