Homecoming at Montclair State University is one of the biggest events of the year. This year is no exception as Montclair State offers alumni more opportunities than ever to return to campus. On Saturday, October 22, Homecoming festivities include the Campus Carnival and Kiddie Zone, where alumni, students and families can enjoy food, sweets and beer concession booths, carnival games, rides and more!
Start the day at the Alumni Welcome Tent where you can learn everything happening throughout the day. Check in to get your Montclair State alumni gift, view information from Admissions and the Sprague Library Archives. Enjoy some refreshments and speak to Alumni Relations representatives to learn more about benefits and services available to you.
Alumni are invited to sample beers from New Jersey based breweries on the Alexander Kasser Theater Veranda. Must be 21 or older to attend. Confirmed breweries include 902 Brewing, Climax Brewing, Two Ton Brewing, Alementary Brewing, Departed Soles Brewing, Demented Brewing and Brix City Brewing. Stay tuned as more breweries are confirmed!
Graduates from the various schools and colleges are also invited to take part in specific department-based gatherings. We are pleased to announce that each school and college will have a gathering. This year the School of Communication and Media hosts its Fifth Annual Alumni gathering, which typically brings back nearly 100 alumni. Alumni of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences have a chance to meet the Dean and gather with fellow graduates. All alumni are invited to tour the Feliciano School of Business 3D Mix Lab and see science in action at the College of Science and Mathematics. The College of Education and Human Services will host a Panzer 100th Anniversary Celebration that includes a run/walk and refreshments.
As if that was not enough, all alumni can check out the WMSC Radio Station Open House, and the Educational Opportunity Fund will host it’s annual gathering and open house. And, for the first time ever, the Bonners program will host an alumni and student gathering at Homecoming.
