Workshop: Financial Conversations Before Saying “I Do” – January 9

On January 9, we will host an educational, interactive and financial education seminar. The Office of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement has partnered with Prudential Advisers to provide a complimentary workshop for alumni focusing on the topic of financial conversations for couples. This presentation teaches couples how to start the conversation about money and finances which can lead to a happier and more successful union. Prudential Advisors, Cheryl Moran and Karen Donofrio, will be presenting on the topic.

Alumni Campus Employee Welcome Back Luncheon – January 16

On January 16, we will be ringing in the new year by hosting our 5th Annual Alumni Campus Employee Welcome Back Luncheon. As faculty and staff and as alumni who contribute so much to the University community and our students, we’d like to show our appreciation. Alumni Campus Employees are unique members of the campus community, having spent time here as students and now as staff and faculty. Throughout the year our students and alumni benefit from campus employee’s tireless efforts, whether in the classroom or in the many administrative offices here on campus.

Please note- this event is only open to alumni who work for Montclair State University.

Shannon Rose Happy Hour and Networking – January 23

With more than 130,000 alumni living in all 50 states and worldwide and with over eighty percent of alumni living in New Jersey and New York, monthly networking gatherings are planned to bring Montclair State to your neighborhood. On January 23, join fellow alumni for a happy hour and networking opportunity at Shannon Rose in Clifton, NJ. It will be great opportunity to socialize and network with fellow Montclair State University graduates with the added twist of Montclair State trivia! In addition, you’ll have an exclusive opportunity to chat with some of the University’s leadership, including Colleen Coppla, Vice President for Development. You’ll hear a brief update on Montclair State’s recent accomplishments and exciting future plans. Complimentary beverages and appetizers will be served. Must be 21 or older to attend the event.

Alumni Night with the NJ Devils 2019 – February 7 (Save the Date)

Coming up in February is our annual Montclair State Alumni Night with the NJ Devils. Join fellow Montclair State graduates for an alumni gathering on Thursday, February 7, at the Prudential Center. Enjoy an exclusive pre-game reception beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by the game, where you’ll watch from a great seat location in the lower level, as the New Jersey Devils take on the New York Islanders at 7:00 p.m. After the game, the group will have the opportunity to take a photo around the Devils logo at center ice.
