Undergraduate Programs
BA in Asian Languages and Cultures
An interdisciplinary major that serves students with strengths and interest in Asian languages and cultures. This bachelor’s program offers three concentrations, allowing students to focus in on China, Japan or Korea.
Minor in Asian Studies
The Minor in Asian Studies is an eighteen-credit program that offers students the opportunity to focus a segment of their university training on Asia to gain in-depth knowledge of the cultural, social, political, economic, and global components of issues related to Asian nations and identities.
Minor in Asian Languages
The 18-credit curriculum provides students with an opportunity to study TWO Asian languages in one program (choosing from Chinese, Japanese and Korean). Students will choose either a Japanese or Chinese concentration, with one of the other two Asian languages counting as a secondary language.
