The Center for Academic Success & Tutoring (CAST) is located in Susan A. Cole Hall suite 149. CAST offers free Tutoring, Peer Academic Coaching, Supplemental Instruction and Academic Workshops to all students on campus. In addition CAST supports student success in Academic Action and other special population groups on campus. The Center collaborates with academic and administrative departments to help students find their path to success at Montclair State University.

Supplemental Instruction
Supplemental Instruction provides additional group instruction for students in especially difficult courses.
Workshops
Workshops provide non-subject academic help, like advice on fostering good study habits, taking notes in class and de-stressing before finals.
Our Center and team is certified by the National Tutoring Association (NTA) and College Reading & Learning Association (CRLA).
