Profile
Dr. Zhou joined the Computer Science Department at Montclair State University in the Fall of 2018. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2014. He also holds an M.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Physics, both from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Dr. Zhou's research primarily focuses on physics-informed learning algorithms and systems, with applications to high-dimensional data analysis, human computer interaction, and collective behavior research in financial markets. His contributions include work on spin glass systems, perturbation-induced learning frameworks, facial recognition, open-environment continuous activity recognition, and learning agents-based trading and investment. His research has been published in TPAMI, TNNLS, CVPR, NeurIPS, etc.
