Jason Torreano is a full-time faculty member at Bloomfield College of Montclair State University and the Founder and CEO of Inkululeko, a non-profit organization supporting education and entrepreneurship for youth in South Africa.
At Bloomfield College, Torreano has demonstrated his dedication to innovative teaching by transitioning the journalism program to a mobile-first approach, focusing on teaching students to shoot and edit videos using mobile devices. Throughout his career, he has held various positions that have contributed to his expertise in education, non-profit management, and journalism, including serving as a Fulbright Specialist, a Study Abroad Instructor at Syracuse University, and a Rotary International Peace Fellow.
