Profile
Carol Schuler received her BA from SUNY-Binghamton, and her MA and PhD from Columbia University, in addition to studying at the Freie Universitat in Berlin. She has published on German Woodcut book illustration, late Medieval Passion Imagery, and Images of Women. In addition to teaching at Montclair, she teaches at William Paterson; she is also a Lecturer at The Cloisters in NYC, giving talks on a variety of subjects in late Medieval art, including Images of Women, Portraiture, and Medieval Dogs.
