Christopher Salvatore
Bio

Dr. Salvatore joined the faculty of Montclair State University in the fall of 2011. He received his PhD in Criminal Justice from Temple University. Dr. Salvatore’s work examines the influence of emerging adulthood on offending and substance use, public perceptions of the criminal justice system, and treatment and prevention programs for justice involved populations. His current work is exploring the influence of emerging adulthood on the current hiring crisis in law enforcement. He teaches Statistics for Social Research, Gangs in America, Corrections, Crime in the Life Course, Victimology and Innovations and Evaluations in Criminal Justice.
