Dr. Stephanie Mayer, PhD, MBA, PMP, has been a valued member of Montclair State University since 2016, bringing a wealth of knowledge and dedication to both her roles as an adjunct instructor and a budget analyst. With a teaching portfolio that spans General Education, Accounting, and Information Sciences, Dr. Mayer is committed to creating engaging, real-world learning experiences for her students. Her ability to make complex subjects both accessible and relevant has earned her high praise from students and colleagues alike.

In her capacity as a budget analyst, Dr. Mayer plays a pivotal role in supporting the financial health of the university’s key academic divisions. She provides budget oversight and strategic support to the College of Education, the College of Community Health, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Feliciano School of Business, and Bloomfield College. Additionally, her expertise extends to assisting university facilities and human resources, ensuring the financial operations of these vital areas run smoothly.

She holds a PhD in Higher Education Leadership, Management, and Policy from Seton Hall University, an MBA with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Phoenix, and a Project Management Certificate from Montclair State University. Her comprehensive education is complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a dual focus in Accounting and Finance from Drexel University.

Her extensive knowledge of financial tools and systems—ranging from Microsoft Excel and Power BI to SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce—further enhances her capabilities.
