Dr. Eden N. Kyse is the Director of the Center for Research and Evaluation on Education and Human Services (CREEHS) in the College of Education and Human Services. She has been a member of the CREEHS team since the start of its operation in 2011 and has served as the Center’s Director since 2013. Dr. Kyse has particular expertise in program evaluation, research design, quantitative methodology, and evaluation capacity building. She has managed dozens of large- and small-scale evaluation and applied research projects, including those focused on teacher preparation and development, STEM education, community health, and community needs assessment. This work has been funded by grants from public agencies at the federal (e.g., US Department of Education, National Science Foundation) and state (e.g., NJ Department of Education, NJ Department of Health) levels and by contracts with local educational agencies, community organizations and foundations. Dr. Kyse holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from The Graduate Center at the City University of New York (CUNY), specializing in Quantitative Methods in Educational and Psychological Research.
