Profile
Nick earned his MFA from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU in Lighting Design in 2010. Since then he has been working as a professional lighting designer in New York and around the world for plays, musicals, dance, concerts, and events.
Nick has a particular interest and focus in lighting for dance, with collaborations with the Mark Morris Dance Group, Philadanco!, the Philadelphia Ballet, New York City Ballet Choreographic Institute, English National Ballet, Trisha Brown Dance Company, Daniil Simpkin’s Intensio, Wendy Whelan’s Restless Creature, Dance Heginbotham, Cincinnati Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, NY City Center’s Fall for Dance Festival, and Lincoln Center Festival among many others.
He has previously been an instructor for lighting design at Hunter College in New York and at the University of Connecticut.
