The Center for the Digital Humanities is hosting the 2018 Spring Digital Humanities Day.
The day’s events will include presentations from CHSS faculty, productive discussions about Digital Humanities, and open Lab sessions

We encourage those interested in working with the Center to come to this session and ask how we could assist you in your digital humanities project

This moderated conversation will briefly review how we got where we are today with the Digital Humanities and show examples of digital humanities projects. There will also be time for Q&A.

Montclair State University Anthropology professor Christopher Matthews and graduate student Sophie Hudzik will present: “A Story Map of Orange, NJ”.
1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This guided conversation will include a brief introduction to what geographic information systems are, review of a few of the more popular applications, and leave plenty of time for Q&A.
