The PhD in Teacher Education and Teacher Development is the first of its kind in the region and one of only a few in the country. The curriculum is based on the most current research on how teachers learn to teach in multicultural contexts and how they develop professionally throughout their careers. This program provides a unique opportunity for those who seek to develop the expertise necessary to assume leadership roles in the initial preparation of teacher candidates, and the ongoing support and development of teachers.
